No respect for emergency services

While i was doing the scavenger hunt down in Toronto for visual design  i noticed multiple times that people would hear sirens coming up from behind them but wouldn't move out of the way, that was the result. The ambulance is completely blocked by cars and even after i took the picture the cars didn't attempt to get out of the way. I figured that this might actually be a common sight in downtown Toronto due to the fact that it is a busy place and after living in Oakville for so long i must have forgotten how some people in Toronto drive. Here in Oakville even if the light is red, once we hear sirens we will go into the middle of the road if it allows for the vehicle to pass especially since the law requires that you get out of the way or you can be fined (within reason, if you are able to move, MOVE!). People don't seem to realize that the ambulance, police, fire truck or any other emergency service vehicle could be going to aid one of their friends or family members, if it was and then you realized that the reason your loved one isn't alright is because you and a bunch of other people decided it wasn't worth the effort to move out of the way then you would feel pretty horrible about it afterwards which we all know we don't want to feel like that.
